Our Story
KJ Detailing is a mobile car detailing business founded by Karson Laszlo in Broomfield, Colorado in April 2023. What started with a $40 loan from his dad has grown into a team entrusted with over $10,000,000 of vehicles across the North Denver metro.
Where it started
Karson's fascination with cars goes back to childhood. In high school, his father floated him a $40 startup fund — in exchange for three free car details — to get his first cleaning supplies. What began as curiosity about how meticulous good detailing could be quickly turned into something closer to an obsession: testing products, comparing techniques, and figuring out what actually got a car clean versus what just looked clean.
The first real detail
The turning point came when his grandparents asked him to detail their car — his first official job. That appointment made something click: this wasn't just a hobby he was good at, it could be an actual business. From there, KJ Detailing was born, built on a simple idea — deliver high-quality, professional detailing to everyday drivers, not just luxury car owners.
